Preston Porter is the owner and managing broker of Porter Realty, Inc. in Alamosa, Colorado. He bought the company from his parents, Mike and Mary Ann Porter in 2008. He began working at the company full time in 2003 as the property manager.
Preston’s focus is on listing and selling Residential and Commercial properties in Alamosa and Farm/Ranch real estate throughout the 5 counties of the San Luis Valley. He is a member of Alamosa County Economic Development Corporation and past president of the local board of Realtors. He is also currently a member of Rocky Mountain Commercial Broker network and Realtors Land Institute. He has obtained his Certified Negotiation Expert designation and is currently working on Accredited Land Consultant designation. Preston is known for his efficiency, competence, and extensive knowledge to get the job done.
Preston was born and grew up in Alamosa. He is a graduate of Alamosa High School and graduated with honors from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. While at UCCS, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in business and his Colorado Real Estate license. During that time Preston was also a real estate agent at Rustic Realty.
Preston and his wife, Katie (also a Valley native) make Alamosa their home. They enjoy traveling, attending Colorado Rockies baseball games, rooting for the Denver Broncos, and spending time with friends and family. Not to mention golfing, hunting, fishing, camping and more when they make time.
It is Preston’s passion to work with buyer’s and seller’s in fulfilling their real estate dreams and needs through excellent service, expert advice, and exceptional results.

Nicolle has worked for Porter Realty, Inc since May of 2008. She is the first person you meet when you come into our office and the first person you talk to when you call the office. She works closely with all the agents in the office to process files, set up showings with property owners and tenants, and helps in any other way she is needed around the office.
She is a Colorado native and has lived in Alamosa for about 15 years. She graduated from Alamosa High School in May of 2009 and received her Bachelor’s in Health and Human Services from Grand Canyon University in May of 2012. She is the oldest of two children and has a very close-knit family.
Greg Goodwin is a third generation Coloradoan and has lived in the San Luis Valley since 1983. He graduated from Sangre de Cristo High School and Adams State College with a degree in mathematics. He began his career with teaching high school math before changing to full time real estate in 2000. Greg has been actively involved in farming and ranching operations throughout his life and served on the Alamosa Ranch Board. He bought his first rental property before graduating from Adams State and has managed his personal rental properties over the years.
During his real estate tenure, Greg owned his own firm, Main Group Realty, and worked for other local brokers before joining the Porter Realty team in December 2011. He has been actively involved with the San Luis Valley Board of Realtors, having held the positions of President Elect, President and the CAR Director. In 2012, Greg was awarded the SLV Realtor of the Year. Remaining active at the state level, he is current on all of the latest changes in the real estate industry.
Greg specializes in representing his clients for the purchase and sales of Single Family Residences, Farm/Ranch, Investment and Commercial property within Alamosa County.

Chuck Kelley joined Porter Realty, Inc. in January 2012. Chuck began his real estate career in property management. He obtained his real estate license that same year. He is now the full-time property manager, managing more than 250 units and increasing the inventory on a monthly basis.
Chuck recently obtained his Residential Managment Professional (RMP®) designation from the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). This designation is held by about 25 property managers in the State.
Chuck grew up in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. In high school he was an active member of search and rescue. He joined the United States Marine Corps in 1999. As a Corporal, he was with the first troops entering Iraq in March of 2003. After his military service, he began a career in civil service. He has served as a Deputy for the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Department, and as a Police Officer and Detective for the Alamosa Police Department. Chuck learned the value of helping people at an early age from his parents. Both worked in civil service; his mother as a dispatcher and his father as a police officer.
Chuck and his family have lived in the San Luis Valley since 2005. While living and working in the San Luis Valley, he attended Adams State College and obtained his degree in 2010. He married Cimarrona in 2003, and they have two daughters, Charlie and Ezri. Chuck and Cim bought their first home in 2010, and have been happy homeowners in Alamosa. Family and career are Chuck’s priorities.
Beverly Boice is a third generation Alamosan. Her grandparents owned and operated “Bertsch Dry Cleaners” for more than 60 years. Bev has continued their legacy of serving the San Luis Valley.
Bev and husband, Dean have two daughters. Both grew up in Alamosa and graduated from Alamosa High School.
Bev retired in 2014 from the Alamosa School District after 20 years as Secretary to the Superintendent and Board of Education. Bev took a few months off to help care for her granddaughter, but then wanted to get back to work. She joined Porter Realty, Inc. in 2015 as Assistant to the Property Manager. Bev has been an invaluable asset with her enthusiasm and organizational skills. Her professionalism aligns with the goals of the Porter Realty team.
Bev enjoys jogging, gardening, golf and spending time with her family.
Mike Porter is a Colorado native. He attended ASC for several years and has worked in real estate since 1971 and has specialized in the Alamosa and San Luis Valley area. Mike has more experience as a Realtor than any other broker or agent in Alamosa!
Early in his real estate career he received his GRI and CRS certificates. He has served on the San Luis Valley Board of Realtors, on the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce Board, the Alamosa Golf Board, and others.
Mike is an avid golfer. He and his family enjoy traveling to and playing at challenging golf courses. He has played in the Tuesday men’s golf league for over 25 years and pool league for many years.
Mike and Mary Ann raised their two sons, Preston and David, in the San Luis Valley. Mike has called the Valley home since 1969.
Mary Ann Porter moved to Colorado from a small town in Texas. She graduated from Adams State College with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught English, Reading, and 3rd, 5th and middle school in the San Luis Valley for several years.
In 1977 she met and married Mike Porter in Alamosa. They have two sons, Preston and David.
Mary Ann is a member of several Duplicate Bridge Club and the Alamosa Ladies Golf League. Mary Ann has 20+ years experience in property management and 15 years experience as a real estate agent.
Preston and Mary Ann sold the largest volume of homes in Alamosa than any other Realtor in 2009.
